In "Quit Point," co-authors Adam Chamberlin and Svetoslav Matejic explore the critical point where students disengage from learning--the "quit point." The book focuses on understanding the root causes of student apathy, disengagement, and lack of motivation in the classroom.
The authors provide practical insights into how educators can identify and respond to these disengagement signals before students fully withdraw. The book is structured around research-based strategies to re-engage students, foster intrinsic motivation, and create classroom environments where students feel valued, understood, and challenged.
Throughout this course, teacher participants will engage in an introductory Zoom meeting and discussion boards. Participants will leave the pd program with a collaboratively created roadmap for implementing "Quit Point" strategies in the classroom.
